Comedian Kapil Sharma's brother guarded Pathankot airbase during terror attack
Comedian Kapil Sharma's brother Ashok Sharma was amongst the brave hearts who guarded the Pathankot airbase on January 2.
According to media reports, Ashok, a head constable with Amritsar rural police, was sent to the airbase during the attack. He was accompanied by 80 policemen to protect the airbase.
He and his men were deployed to avoid any possible escape by the terrorists behind the base near Chakki river.
He said that he was for the first three days they did 20-hour shifts. They got tea and biscuit only after they reached temporary shelter where they took power nap before resuming duty.
He added that during the attack it was very difficult to differentiate between armymen and terrorists as they were wearing the same attire.
