Lenovo launches Vibe X3 with HD audio, 21MP rear camera at Rs 19,999 in India
Aimed at the three senses- touch, sight, and smell, Lenovo has finally unveiled its Vibe X3 smartphone today.
The Lenovo Vibe X3 has a slightly curved design and features a 5.5-inch FHD IPS wide view display with PerfectView, which the company claims offers 100 per cent colour reproduction.
At its heart is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card.
Another highlight is the phone’s sound. The Lenovo Sound offers HD Audio which is claimed to be the world’s highest quality audio output on a phone ever. Lenovo has added three operational amplifiers to the high-quality DAC for powerful sound output. It further encompasses stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The phone automatically switches between HD to voice audio for phone calls and vice versa.
The Vibe X3 is based on Lenovo’s own Vibe UI layered above stock Android Lollipop 5.1, which is said to be the lightest and fastest custom UI available.
On the camera front, the Lenovo Vibe X3 features a 21 megapixel rear camera coupled with an 8 megapixel front snapper. The camera comes with slow-mo, time lapse, and 4K recording capabilities.
The phone draws its juice from a 3500mAh battery with USB OTG support for reverse charging.
Other enhancements include a rear fingerprint sensor, NFC support, in-built Theatre Max, and support for 4G+ - which means it can support two 4G SIMs.
The phone will start selling from January 28 at 2 PM onwards exclusively on Amazon for a price of Rs 19,999.
The company also introduced its Lenovo Skullcandy Ando headphones with built-in microphone and remote for Rs 1,299.
