Ever since Comedy Nights with Kapil went off-air, fans of the ace comedian are waiting with bated breath to see him return with a new show. While reports of Kapil's comeback are doing the rounds, let's take a look at things you should definitely know about his show.

Bollywood's Badshah on first episode?
Kapil Sharma and Bollywood's Badshah Shah Rukh Khan have always shared a great rapport. The stand-up comedian has many a times openly confessed that he is a huge Shah Rukh fan. In fact, when the sets of Kapil's previous show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' caught fire, SRK and other celebrities came in support of Kapil. And now, if rumours are to be believed, Shah Rukh will be the first guest on the show. The 50-year-old superstar will be seen promoting his most awaited film 'Fan' on the show. According to reports on an entertainment portal, other celebrities, who have shot for the promos of Kapil's new show, includes Kareena Kapoor, Virat Kohli, Saina Nehwal and Arjun Kapoor.

Kapil and the terrific team to be back
The star cast of Comedy Nights with Kapil has been like a family. Even after the show went off-air, the crew has been hanging out together. Speculations of Kiku, Sunil and Ali being part of Kapil's new show are also rife. Though the characters they will play is still unclear, but the team of writers and the rest of the cast - Sunil Grover (Gutthi), Ali Asgar (dadi) and Kiku Sharda (Palak) will also be apparently working on the new show.

One of the reports had quoted a source saying that the new show will apparently start by the end of March or first week of April. Certain sections of the media had recently reported that Kapil and his team had a long meeting with Sony's CEO, NP Singh, at JW Marriott in Juhu.

SOL and Kapil Sharma's production house jointly produced 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' for the last three years. However, Kapil and SOL have amicably parted ways. Kapil Sharma's new show will now be produced by Frames.

Krushna, who has been taking jibes at Kapil, might have a reason to worry. According to a report, Kapil's new show will be telecast on weekends and at the same time when Comedy Nights Bachao (Saturday) and Comedy Nights Live (Sunday) are aired.
