देवगढ़।नगरपालिका अध्यक्ष के कमरे में हुई साधारण सभा की शुरुआत विरोध से हुई जो अन्त में एजेंडे के सभी बिन्दुओं पर प्रस्ताव लेकर शान्तिपूर्वक समाप्त हुई। बैठक में जब अधिशासी अधिकारी ने रामपुरिया रोड से लसानी चौराहे तक डिवाइड बनाने का बिंदु पढ़कर सुनाया तो भाजपा पार्षद महावीर मुडत, प्रदीपसिंह आदि ने कहा कि डिवाइड की आवश्यकता तो तहसील रोड से आमेट रेलवे फाटक व अन्य मार्गों पर भी है। फिर इसी रोड का प्रस्ताव क्यों लिया गया है। इस पर कांग्रेस के पार्षद राजेश मेवाड़ा उनकी बात का जबाव देने लगे। तो मुडोत सहित कई पार्षदों ने कहा कि हम प्रश्न पालिकाध्यक्ष से पूछ रहे हैं। जवाब यह क्यों दे रहे हैं? क्या हर बात का जवाब अब यही देंगे?

इस पर भाजपा और कांग्रेस के कुछ पार्षदों के बीच में तू-तू, मैं-मैं होने से काफी देर तक हंगामा मचा। जिसे पालिका अध्यक्ष व पार्षद नरेश पानेरी द्वारा समझाइश के बाद शांत कर पूरे नगर के बाहरी मार्ग में जरुरत अनुसार डिवाइडर बनाने व पुलिया के निर्माण का प्रस्ताव लिया गया। बैठक में पालिका परिसर में आवश्यक निर्माण, मारु दरवाजा चबूतरे पर निर्माण, डाक बंगला सर्कल, चांद कुण्ड पर आवश्यक विद्युत कार्य, सूरज दरवाजा पुलिस चौकी पनघट का स्थल परिर्वतन, प्रताप सर्कल पर लगी प्रतिमा का स्थल परिवर्तन करने का प्रस्ताव लिया गया। साथ ही पालिका क्षेत्र में हो रहे अवैध निर्माण कार्य, अवैध अतिक्रमण कर लगाये गये अस्थायी कैबिनों को हटाने की भी चर्चा की गई।

जिस पर हंगामा होने पर अधिशासी अधिकारी द्वारा 10 दिन के भीतर उक्त कैबिनधारियों को सुचीबद्ध कर उनको हटाने का आश्वासन दिया। शास्त्री नगर विद्यालय के सामने वाण्ििज्यक दुकान निर्माण, वार्ड न.2 में श्मशानघाट पर टीन शेड के निर्माण, वार्ड न.10 में सराय निर्माण, सतीमाता तथा बालमीकी समाज के श्मशनघाट पर सीसी सड़क व सराय निर्माण, पालिका क्षेत्र में सार्वजनिक रोड पर रोशनी के लिए विद्युत सामग्री खरीदने का प्रस्ताव लिया गया। बैठक में उपाध्यक्ष रेखा सोनी, पार्षद राजेश मेवाड़ा, हंसराज कंसारा, तेजपाल खोखर, भगवती देवी, प्रदीप सिंह, नरेश पानेरी, लीला वैष्णव, ज्योति पंवार, शिल्पा सेन, रेखा कलवाडिय़ा, नारायणी रेगर, किशनगोपाल खटीक, महावीर मुणोत, सुरेश रेगर सहित अनेक लोग मौजूद थे।

New Delhi: BCCI is set to suffer a financial loss to the tune of Rs 1600 crore if Lodha Panel's recommendations on curtailing the advertisement breaks during the matches is implemented.
It is feared that in the wake of loss of revenue not only the smooth functioning of country's richest sporting body will be hit but also the development of junior cricket in the country.
According to BCCI balance sheet, the operative revenue currently is approximately Rs 2000 crore, a large chunk of which comes from broadcasting rights and advertisement revenues.
But if Lodha Panel recommendation, which wants the advertisements only during "lunch, tea or drinks break", then it would come down to Rs 400 crore.
According to a reliable source in the board, the Star Sports, which has the broadcasting rights of BCCI's matches, currently gives Rs 43 crore per match and such a rule could see BCCI earning as less as Rs 8-10 crore per match.
"Yes, it is true that we are facing a situation which could lead to a revenue loss of Rs 1600 crore. Star Sports will renegotiate their deal and may be pay us only 20-25 per cent of the amount that we get currently per match. Ditto for IPL broadcasters," a source in the know of things told PTI on conditions of anonymity.
The far-reaching implication of this could mean that during India's away tours, the hosts countries such as England, New Zealand or Australia will earn more than India out of the broadcast deals.
According to insiders, there are chances that BCCI's age-group structure, which is one of the most robust in world cricket, will be badly hit if this recommendation comes to effect.
BCCI spends around Rs 750 crore (approx) on subsidies to state associations, Rs 400-450 crore (approx) on match-fees and allowances of players right from U-16 to the senior teams.

Save this, another Rs 350 crore (approx) is spent to conduct around 2000 BCCI matches from U-16, U-19, U-22 to Ranji Trophy across the country.
The former first-class cricketers and international cricketers get monthly pension for which another Rs 25 crore is spent by the board.
When the BCCI source was asked about the implications of the possible hit in revenue structure, he replied, "The biggest hit could be the age-group matches, U-16, U-19s and the various camps that are organised. The money generated through IPL and international broadcasting rights is used for development of junior cricket which will not be possible then."

The comparisons with the legendary pair of Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly are certainly flattering but Rohit Sharma feels his partnership with Shikhar Dhawan still has a long way to go before matching up to the iconic opening combination.
"Comparisons with India's most successful opening pairing (Ganguly-Tendulkar) gives you immense satisfaction. Comparisons are a piece of joy. It would be great if me and Shikhar as opening pair can achieve the success that these two accomplished in their illustrious careers," Rohit, who is going through a dream phase in his career, told PTI in an exclusive interview.
"We are still not there but both of us would like to entertain the fans and win as many matches as they have won for India," he said.
Both the batsmen did well in the recent limited-overs series in Australia with Rohit notching up the Man of the Series award in the ODIs despite India losing 1-4.
It will be an understatement to say he is in dream form but Rohit's appetite for big scores has not satiated yet.
"This is not the best. Whatever I achieve, I would always tell myself that my best is yet to come. I have scored 441 runs in the ODI series in Australia. In the next big series, my target will be to score more than 441 runs.
"If I am satisfied with my past achievements, I will never be able to set higher benchmarks," the 28-year-old stylish Mumbai batsman said.
Ask him about whether the T20 series win holds credit considering the quality of Australia's bowling, Rohit replied: "I agree that their bowling attack is not same as it used to be but does one expect that Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath would have played on forever? You can only score runs off the bowlers that you play against. Every win counts as that's what you are supposed to do while playing for the country."
But he was quick to point out that this win cannot be compared to the CB Series win of 2007-08.
"No way, that was so different. I was a 20-year-old on my second or third tour. The new captain (Dhoni) was just settling down. Imagine their bowling attack. Brett Lee, Nathan Bracken and a far younger Mitchell Johnson. The batting line- up was Hayden, Gilchrist, Ponting and Clarke. So that tournament win can't be compared to this win but this is also special in its own way."
He speaks about getting the basics right while executing a particular shot but when asked whether it is that simple, he laughs.
"May be not but it is a fact that you need to get the basics right. The straight six over fast bowlers' head is a shot which I play with my batswing being the extension of my arm. It is about timing and position of the body negligible power element in it. But when MS Dhoni bats in the 45th over with the ball going soft, you need those wrists and brute power as to clear ropes.

1.एक जुड़वांओं का गांव
गांव तो हमारे यहां की शान होते हैं. गांधी जी ने कहा था कि भारत गांवों में बसता है. लेकिन केरल के एक गांव में सबसे ज़्यादा जुड़वां लोग बसते हैं. इस गांव का नाम Kodinhi है. यहां लगभग 2000 परिवार रहते हैं उनमें से 250 जुड़वां हैं. लगातार गांव में जुड़वां बच्चे पैदा होते चले जा रहे हैं. अभी तक इसके पीछे कोई वाजिब कारण सामने नहीं आया.

2.The Jodhpur Boom
18 दिसंबर 2012 के दिन जोधपुर के लोगों को एक धमाका सुनाई दिया. इसकी आवाज़ इतनी तेज़ थी कि मानो कान फट जायें. लोगों ने सोचा कि शायद आसमान में कोई जहाज टकरा गया है, लेकिन देखने पर ऐसा कुछ नहीं था. आसमान खाली था. वो धमाका आज भी रहस्य की एक वजह बना हुआ है.

3.The Nine Unknown Men
वैसे ये रहस्य पश्चिम देशों से आया था. लोगों का मानना है कि ये शक्तिशाली रहस्य सम्राट अशोक के समय में भारत आया. जब सम्राट अशोक का युद्ध चल रहा था तो इनका काम (Nine Unknown Men) सारी रहस्यों को महफ़ूज़ रखना था. इनके पास एक ज्ञान की किताब हुआ करती थी. लेकिन इसमें से कुछ बातें लीक हो गईं. और कहा जाता है कि जुडो इसी किताब की देन है.

4.ताज महल का रहस्य
इस प्यार की मज़ार पर सवाल उठा है. ताज की सुंदरता और बनावट से कौन मोहित नहीं होता? ये मुगल बादशाह शाहजहां की अपनी बेग़म मुमताज को एक नायाब देन है. इसीलिए इसे ताज महल कहा जाता है. लेकिन दिल्ली के प्रोफेसर पी.एन. ऑक का कहना है कि दरअसल ताज महल एक शिव मंदिर था जिसका नाम तेजू महोलिया हुआ करता था. अगर ये सच है तो इतिहास की किताबों से बहुत सारी बातें मिट जायेंगी और कुछ नई जानकारियां जुड़ जायेंगी. बाकी सच का इंतज़ार रहेगा.

5.एक शापित गांव (कुलधारा)
500 साल पहले इस गांव की आबादी लगभग 1500 हुआ करती थी, लेकिन एक रात सब लोग अचानक कहीं गायब हो गये. सब का सब वैसे का वैसा छोड़कर. लोगों का कहना है कि यहां एक लड़का-लड़की आपस में प्यार करते थे. लेकिन लड़की के गुस्सैल पिता ने लड़के को मार दिया उसके बाद से ही कहा जाता है कि इस गांव में कोई नहीं बस सका. लोगों के अनुसार यहां बहुत सी खतरनाक घटनायें घटती रहती हैं.

6.The Magnetic Hill
हिमालय की पहाड़ियों के पास और लद्दाख की वादियों में एक ऐसी जगह है, जहां अगर आपने गाड़ी खड़ी कर दी तो वो अपने आप ही पीछे को खिंची चली आती है. लोग इसे हिमालय का जादू कहकर बुलाते हैं.

7.हिमालय में रहने वाले अमर लोग
कई जगह कहा जाता है हिमालय में ऐसी शांति है कि आप ख़ुद को भी भूल जायेंगे. लोगों का मानना है कि बहुत से साधु-महात्मा वहां जा कर तपस्या कर रहे हैं और जो उसे सिद्ध कर लेता है, उसे अमर होने से कोई नहीं रोक सकता. अभी तक ये रहस्य बना हुआ है कि कितने लोगों के ज्ञानचक्षु खुल चुके हैं और वो अमरता की राह को पा चुके हैं.

8.एक भूत बिल्ली
इसका आतंक एक बार पूना के आस-पास छाया था. लोग रात को डरने लग गये थे. एक प्रत्यक्षदर्शी ने बताया कि उसकी काली-काली आंखें बड़ी ही डरावनी थीं और उसकी छलांग तो बहुत ही लंबी थी. हालांकि कुछ लोगों का कहना है कि ये एक अफ़वाह थी लेकिन रहस्य अभी भी बना हुआ है.

9.The Kongka La Pass UFO Base
भारत और चीन के बोर्डर पर ये पास है. दोनों देशों के बीच टकराव की वजह कभी ये क्षेत्र भी रह चुका है. लेकिन UFO ने अपना बेस बनाने के लिए इस जगह को चुना. ऐसा कुछ लोगों का कहना है, कि यहां कोई आम आदमी नहीं जा सकता इसीलिए स्थानीय लोगों को शक है कि कहीं ये सच न हो.

10.शांति देवी
इनका जन्म 1930 को दिल्ली के एक परिवार में हुआ. चार साल की उम्र में वो अपने माता-पिता को अपने असली मम्मी-पापा मानने से इनकार करने लगी और कहने लगी कि उसका असली नाम लुग्डी है. वो पिछले जन्म में डिलीवरी के दौरान मर गई थी. जब उनके मम्मी-पापा ने बात की जांच करवाई तो सब भौंच्चके रह गये. वो सब सच था.
